New Mexico Boxing Hall of Fame Class of 2018

The New Mexico Boxing Hall of Fame inducted its seven-member class of 2018 on October 27, 2018 at the Embassy Suites hotel in Albuquerque, NM. The living inductees were Jerry Martinez (Founder of the New Mexico Boxing Hall of Fame), Brooks Byrd (Boxer), Pat Holmes (Promoter/Trainer), Jim Lilley (Referee/Commissioner), Dr. Reynaldo Martinez (Physician), and Tony Romero (Boxer). Sandy Pino (Judge/President) was inducted posthumously. Boxers Josh “Pitbull” Torres and Cristian “El Puma” Cabral were honored for participating in the 2018 New Mexico fight of the year.
